About the Kindergarten

First Baptist Kindergarten began in the fall of 2008 with only 7 students and increased the next year to 12 students. It is our desire to continue to grow each year while maintaining our personal attention to the students. We strive to form a partnership between school and home because we believe the education of children is a responsibility that should be shared. The curriculum is developed in accordance with the kindergarten guidelines issued by the State of Mississippi.

About our Teacher, Amy Robinson

Amy Robinson is the kindergarten teacher at Tupelo's First Baptist Church where she has been a member for the past 15 years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Alabama and is certified to teach in the State of Mississippi. Amy and her husband, Mike have four children. Amy has a great love for children and desires to create a safe, loving, Christian environment where each child can learn to his or her fullest potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
