Tapestry Women's Ministry Council

PURPOSE:

To open our hearts to a deeper knowledge of Christ; desiring encouragement from and with other women, knowing that all are called, gifted, and sent through Christ.

"There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men." 1 Corinthians 12:4-6

DUTIES:

A. Lead women to accept Christ as Lord, to become women of deep prayer, and to become women who study the Bible and base their lives on the word of God.
B. Enable women to discover their God-given gifts for ministry, search out the needs in our church and community, and match those needs with their gifts of service.
C. enrich families as women's lives are drawn closer to Christ.
D. Help women feel welcome at our church.
E. Encourage meaningful relationships among women of diverse ages and backgrounds.
F. Equip and enable women to mentor other women.
G. Follow Jesus' example of ministry to and with women.
H. Work alongside existing ministries in our church to achieve these purposes.
