A Wonderful Beginning...
At First Baptist Church, we believe that the ministry to preschoolers and their families is an important one. We want to encourage and support our preschool parents in nurturing and instructing their children in the Lord. Many learning opportunities are offered at First Baptist that meet the spiritual needs of our preschoolers. We seek to give our preschoolers a place to learn about God and explore His love and character in a safe, secure environment.
"Our children shall serve Him, for they shall hear from us about the wonders of the Lord." Psalm 22:30
Our Preschool Mission Statement
To provide a warm and safe environment in which caring adults teach and reflect God's love in such a way that each child is provided the foundation upon which to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
At First Baptist Church, we provide a creative, hands-on approach for preschoolers to learn God's word in Sunday school. Devoted, caring teachers work with preschoolers each Sunday to teach the Bible-related stories through activities, music and crafts that make learning about God fun and exciting. There is excitement in the preschool area on Sunday mornings as we learn about our GREAT BIG GOD!!!!!!!!!! We provide Sunday school classes for babies, creepers, toddlers, twos, threes, fours and fives.
MOPS
MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) meets the first Monday night of each month, September through May, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. in FBC's Fellowship Hall. MOPS is a haven for busy moms. The purpose is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ. Each month includes fellowship, refreshments, a speaker or topic of interest to encourage, support or educate, creative activities and discussion groups. Childcare is provided.
